Amazon’s hot new Echo Studio deal is giving off strong Black Friday vibes،
Even though today isn't Friday and the month definitely isn't November, Amazon's “best performing smart speaker ever” may be available again (for a likely limited time) at a price decidedly at the level of Black Friday (or Cyber Monday).
Yes, the Echo Studio is currently marked down $55 from a list price of $199.99, and as far as we know, this bad boy is only $5 cheaper than it was a long time ago. Perhaps more remarkably, today's discount exceeds that offered at and around Christmas, something you don't hear very often in February about such an extremely popular product.
Granted, the Echo Studio probably isn't as user-friendly as the “standard” Echo or the smaller Echo Dot, catering to a much more niche audience who care at least as much about audio performance as voice assistance .
Equipped with a huge 30mm tweeter, no less than three 2-inch mid-range drivers and a 5.3-inch woofer, this device is at worst on par with the second generation HomePod of 'Apple at $299 in terms of pure power and at best. . better. Either way, you're clearly looking at a tremendous value proposition here, especially when you also consider all of Echo Studio's Alexa skills.
You can get the ultra-premium smart speaker in your choice of “Charcoal” or “Glacier” colors without jumping through any hoops or meeting Prime membership requirements to maximize your savings, and even though the device is quite old, having originally seen the light of day in 2019, there's no word yet on an imminent sequel… and to be honest, we don't know what Amazon could possibly improve about this almost perfect first generation product.
