Kylian Mbappé has told Paris Saint-Germain that he intends to leave the club when his contract expires this summer, sources have told ESPN, paving the way for a move to Real Madrid.
ESPN reported on February 3 that Mbappé had decided to join Madrid this summer, ending the Spanish club's years-long pursuit of the French international, although he has yet to inform either club of his decision.

Madrid sources insist that the player has still not responded to the offer reported by ESPN a few weeks ago, although they hope Mbappé will respond soon, believing they have done everything possible to convince him to join .
Mbappé, who grew up idolizing Bernabéu legends Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo, has always wanted to play for Madrid and, according to a source, he feels it is the right time in his career to move to the Spanish capital.
Sources told ESPN that PSG had prepared two scenarios for their future plans: one that involved Mbappé remaining at the club and another that did not. With Mbappé verbalizing his decision, the latter scenario is now coming to fruition.
Ahead of PSG's 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad in the Champions League on Wednesday – in which Mbappé scored the opening goal – chief Luis Enrique said on Tuesday that the striker was acting as usual even in the middle of his possible exit.
“He [Mbappé] It’s business as usual,” said Luis Enrique.
Mbappé has scored 31 goals in 30 games in all competitions this season.
