The other day, when a purported real photo of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra surfaced, we rightly pointed out that the upcoming Chinese flagship had skipped the rendering stage. Well, that changes with the latest leak from MySmartPrice.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be unveiled at the end of February during the MWC (Mobile World Congress) to be held in Barcelona, Spain.

Okay, let's start with the colors: we expect that Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available in black, white or silver.

Based on the renders, the 14 Ultra's camera island could be surrounded by a silver bezel below the standard black and gold bezel. The positioning of the camera lens and LED flash will be similar to that of the 13 Ultra.

A textured power button on the right is expected for better grip alongside the volume rockers. At the bottom, the renders reveal a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a microphone. The position of the speaker grill and main microphone of the 14 Ultra will be reversed compared to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

The report notes that these renders don't show a secondary microphone or IR blaster, but that doesn't mean the real device won't have an IR blaster.

We know that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may offer a titanium variant alongside the standard aluminum frame. According to a tipster, titanium (being more expensive than aluminum) could have a higher price: around $1,014 (for the 16GB + 1TB variant).

Speaking of price, there are nasty rumors circulating about the European price of Xiaomi's next flagship. Some say it could be €1,699 (over $1,800), but with a €200 off coupon spotted on a Dutch retailer's online store, the price could go down to €1,499 – which was the price of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra for the Old Continent.

Apart from that, there was a specs leak recently which revealed many fascinating things. Thanks to another tech tipster (this time on X/Twitter), Xiaomi fans are now expecting Xiaomi 14 Ultra to bring a 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a large 5,300mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging (plus 50W wireless charging) .

Under the hood, we expect to find the cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, an Adreno 750 GPU and the cameras should be something pretty special: the quad-camera setup will most likely consist of a 50-sensor. 1 inch megapixel, a 50 megapixel ultra-wide, a 3.2x 50 megapixel telephoto lens and another 5x 50 megapixel telephoto lens.

The main sensor could be none other than the Sony LYT-900, the spiritual successor to Sony's incredibly popular and beloved IMX989 sensor. LYT is the abbreviation of LYTIA, and it is the new brand of image sensors for mobile devices developed by SSS (Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation).
