publish on a Naver blogthe iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will undergo some changes compared to the Pro 2023 models. For some time we have been waiting for the
iPhone16 Pro to upgrade from a 6.3-inch screen to a 6.1-inch screen of the iPhone 15 Pro. Likewise, the
iPhone 16 Pro Max the screen will get a 0.2-inch bump to a 6.9-inch OLED panel. These will be Micro Lens Array (MLA) OLED panels that offer improved brightness and viewing angles.
Both models will be powered by the A18 Pro application processor (AP) which will be produced by TSMC using its second generation 3nm process node (N3E). Unlike last year, where only the iPhone 15 Pro Max was equipped with the Tetraprism periscope lens, this year both
iPhone16 Professional models will be able to take telephoto images with 5x optical zoom. And the new Pro models will also feature a 48 MP ultra-wide
camera.
New screen sizes expected for iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max
All four
iPhone16 phones will have the new Capture button that can be dragged to zoom in on a subject you're taking a photo of or recording, pressed lightly to focus on that subject, and pressed fully to take a photo or start a
video. The action button, which replaced the mute switch on the
iPhone 15 Pro last year's models, will be found on all four
iPhone16 series models.
The Action button allows users to configure the functionality to perform certain tasks by pressing the button. These tasks include:
- Silent mode: enable or disable silent mode
- Focus: enable or disable a particular focus
- Camera: Open the Camera app
- Flashlight: turn the flashlight on and off
- Voice memo: start and stop recording a voice memo
- Magnifier: Open the Magnifier app
- Translate – start translating speech from one application to another
- Shortcut-open shortcut
- Accessibility: Quickly access your favorite accessibility feature
- No action button does nothing
THE iPhone16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could have models offering 2TB of native storage later this year, which would exceed the 1TB storage capacity available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max. We wonder if the basic storage for the iPhone16 the line will change. Currently, the iPhone 15 Pro Max can be purchased with as much as 256GB of storage while all other models start with 128GB.
Battery life should improve as iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to receive a 4676 mAh battery, a 5.3% increase over the 4441 mAh cell used on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. THE iPhone16 The Pro battery could be in line for a 2.5% increase to 3,355 mAh.
