Super Bowl halftime show – What will be Usher’s first song?،
During the intermission of Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, Usher will take the stage to host the Apple Music Halftime Show on Sunday.
But two questions remain: Who will Usher bring out during the performance and what will be the first song in his rotation?
The singer says the show will serve as a tribute to the black artists who came before him and will go all out for the R&B genre.
“I think about what our country has sort of meant to black artists who at some point have to go through kitchens to be able to perform in front of an audience,” the artist told Andscape's Kelley Carter in an interview on “Good Morning America.”
Apple Music announced that Usher would take the spotlight at halftime using a clip from his “Confessions Part II” music video combined with several teasers featuring some NFL greats such as Deion Sanders and Marshawn Lynch.

The Super Bowl halftime show will get Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf's full attention because he thinks the singer will open with “U Don't Have to Call” but hopes he will perform his hits “U Got It Bad” and “Burn”. “
“I'm looking forward to it. My girlfriend is looking forward to it too. She's a big Usher fan, so I think the artist they have during the halftime show, it's going to be a very good show,” Metcalf told ESPN’s Michael DiRocco during Pro Bowl weekend.
Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey thinks the “Peace up, A-town down” lineup will kick off the halftime festivities with a performance of “Yeah!” and eventually sharing the stage with Lil Jon, Ludacris and T-Pain.
“He's going to open with Yeah! He might not open with it but it's going to be a high [in the set list]. This is definitely the one I need to hear. The rest is just icing on the cake,” Ramsey said.
Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton thinks Usher will start with Burn and hopes to hear Confessions Part II with Chris Brown as a special guest.
