Galatasaray to revisit signing Man United’s Eriksen in summer،

Galatasaray have decided not to make a move for Christian Eriksen in the final days of the Turkish transfer window, but they are likely to increase their interest in the Manchester United midfielder this summer, a source has told ESPN.

Turkey's January transfer window closes on February 9 and although Galatasaray are interested in Eriksen, there is little certainty a deal can be completed before the deadline.

Eriksen is now expected to stay at Old Trafford for the remainder of the season, but a source has told ESPN that Galatasaray are keen to review a deal for the Denmark international this summer.

The 31-year-old, who arrived at United on a free transfer in 2022, has a contract until 2025.

He remains a key member of Erik ten Hag's squad but lost his place in the starting team following the emergence of 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro's return from injury.

United have won their last three games with a midfield three of Mainoo, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes with Eriksen as an unused substitute.

Eriksen's last start was in a 2-2 draw against Tottenham on January 14.

United also signed Mason Mount from Chelsea last summer, but more changes are expected to be made to the midfield next summer.

The futures of Eriksen and Casemiro – under contract until 2026 – are uncertain as the club consider not making Sofyan Amrabat's loan move to Fiorentina permanent.

United have the option to make the Moroccan international's transfer permanent at the end of the season for a fixed fee of 20 million euros ($22.5 million) plus a further 5 million euros ($5.3 million dollars) of supplements.
