Oleksandr Usyk won’t judge Tyson Fury for postponing fight،

GANDIA, Spain — Oleksandr Usyk says he's not judging Tyson Fury for suffering a cut during training that forced the postponement of their heavyweight boxing unification bout.

The fight was rescheduled from February 17 to May 18 – still in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – after Fury needed stitches for the cut.

“I don't judge anyone, no one at all. It happens, it's boxing. You have to take it seriously because we're on another level with Tyson Fury. You have to cross out all the little things to continue to prepare for in the ring,” Usyk said from his training camp in Spain on Tuesday.

Usyk also said he missed the birth of his fourth child on Jan. 28 to stay in training camp for the fight.

“I put a lot on the line,” he added. “I didn't celebrate any holidays, not New Year's Eve, not my birthday, my children's birthdays which took place while I was in training. I was not with my wife when she gave birth .”

This is the second time the fight has been delayed, with a date last December also falling through.

Usyk, from Ukraine, holds the WBA, IBF and WBO titles. Fury, originally from Great Britain, owns the WBC belt.

The winner will be crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 2000.
