Vivo V30 launched with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 & IP54 rating،

After a ton of rumors and teasers, Vivo has added another smartphone to its V-series lineup with the Vivo V30. The phone offers a premium design paired with 50MP cameras, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC under the hood, and a 6.78-inch 1.5K display. Here's everything you need to know about the latest addition to the V series.

Vivo V30 price and availability

Vivo V30 will be announced in over 30 markets including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India, UAE, Egypt, Pakistan and Singapore to name a few some. Unfortunately, you will have to wait for each market's official price update on their respective country's website.

Vivo V30 Specifications and Features

Vivo V30 is a well-designed phone available in four colors. Its Waving Aquas has a waving magnetic particle effect, the Bloom White has a 3D petal pattern, the Noble Black color has Glourite AG Glass and finally, the Lush Green has a color changing pattern.

Vivo V30 was announced with a 6.78-inch AMOLED 3D curved glass panel increasing the resolution to 1.5K. The screen breathes at a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 2,800 nits (which is huge), making it a perfect phone to use even under direct sunlight. The phone also comes with an IP54 rating for water and dust, which is good considering the potential price segment.

Under the hood, we get a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, the highest performance chipset in the 7 series clocked at up to 2.63 GHz. It has a usual 1+3+4 CPU architecture and is manufactured on a 4nm node. The GPU is an Adreno 720 GPU which offers 50% more power compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. It also has up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

The Chinese smartphone maker has equipped the V30 with a 3,002mm2 vapor chamber that keeps the phone at a comfortable temperature even when it's doing all the tough processing. It is also equipped with 11 temperature sensors that collectively enable smoother performance on the device.

FuntouchOS 14 running Android 14 runs the software. Vivo has promised at least 4 years of software support. Optically, we get a 50 MP front properly slotted into a centrally placed punch-hole cutout. On the back, we get a 50 MP OmniVision OV50E primary sensor paired with a 50 MP ultra-wide with autofocus complementing its dual camera setup.
