Meme of the week: Getting through Motorola Razr’s Bermuda Triangle naming system،

I can certainly see that you know your wine. Most guests who stay here don't know the difference between Bordeaux and Claret.

That's what the insufferable hotelier Basil Fawlty says to a guest ordering wine in the cult series “Fawlty Towers” with John Cleese.

It's one of many jokes that have entertained people for almost 50 years now, because Claret, as any wine lover will tell you, is British slang for Bordeaux wines.

The thing is, even if you don't like wine, you'll have an easier time guessing that Claret is Bordeaux than going through Motorola's naming system which is its own mini Bermuda Triangle.

The upcoming Motorola Razr Plus (2024) will be dubbed Razr 50 Ultra in the EU and the Motorola Edge Plus (2024) will likely be called “Edge 50 Pro” abroad.

Not confusing at all!
