OnePlus Open, the Big Kahuna among foldables, finally gets the Android 14 update (terms apply)،
The first day of February 2024 brings a lot to the OnePlus Open – a phone that's the Big Kahuna as far as we're concerned – like the long-awaited Android 14 update.
That's right, this king launched in late October 2023 on Android 13 and so far it's only gotten Android 13 updates (like the one just before Christmas that improved battery life).
OxygenOS 14 (based on Android 14) is now available for OnePlus Open in its stable form, as announced on the OnePlus forums (via 9to5Google). However, certain terms and conditions apply: it is for selected users initially (those who participated in the Close Beta and Open Beta versions) and it is taking place in India before expanding to other countries .
