Nokia just died…again – PhoneArena،

If you're a millennial, your first phone was probably a Nokia. Nokia Corporation, the Finnish company behind the iconic brand, no longer makes phones, but the Nokia name lives on thanks to a partnership with HMD Global. However, he may breathe his last.

You can't rely on nostalgia to sell phones and HMD Global seems to have realized it can no longer exploit the name. The company has already made known its plans to sell its own non-Nokia phones and now the Nokia brand is slowly being erased from the internet.

The site still sells Nokia phones, but it's clear that HMD is ready to shed its identity as a Nokia brand licensee and be known as an entirely new company.

And while HMD hasn't announced that it will stop making new Nokia phones, the writing is on the wall.

All Nokia Mobile social media accounts have been locked. MyNokia, the official channel for Nokia branded products sold by brand licensees, announced that all channels will close on February 7.

Keep in mind that neither Nokia nor HMD have said anything officially about stopping production, but we doubt the latter will renew its deal, which expires soon.
