Nothing to launch two more products: neckband headphones and a power bank،

If you've lost an earbud or two since the wireless revolution erased the 3.5mm headphone jack, here's a solution: neckband earphones!

If you're a fan of Carl Pei's Nothing brand, you could probably get the Nothing Neckband Pro soon, as such a product is spotted on a certification platform (via 91 laptops). It's also possible that a power bank from Nothing will also arrive in the near future.

Being the first, this Nothing Neckband Pro leak is understandably quite sparse in terms of detailed technical information and specifications – in fact, nothing else is known about Nothing's upcoming audio gear aside from the potential model name (“Neckband Pro”) and a serial number (B164). It is possible that Nothing will launch the necklace earphones under its CMF brand.

What is the CMF?

Launched at the beginning of August 2023, CMF is Nothing's most affordable sub-brand. Of course, they're trying to stay as close to the mothership as possible, with Carl Pei's promises of affordable devices that are true to Nothing's design and technology philosophy. Less than two months later, CMF launched a smartwatch, a pair of wireless earbuds, and a fast charger. When it was released, the smartwatch, for example, cost $60. Affordable, that’s for sure!

The wireless earbuds launched last fall cost $40, so it will be interesting to see where the next Neckband Pro model will be positioned.

When it comes to the potential power bank, there's even less information: It's unclear whether it will launch under the CMF sub-brand or whether it will have the Nothing stamp officially put on it.

Of course, the next big thing from Nothing will be the upcoming announcement of Nothing Phone (2a), which could happen in late February 2024. The Nothing Phone 2a is expected to make a “budget” appearance, as this gadget is rumored will cost half the price of its VIP sibling, the Nothing Phone 2. Tech soothsayer Roland Quandt says there will be two variants available – a not-too-shabby 8/128GB and a slightly fancier 12/256GB.

If the stars align and Nothing Phone (2a) hits the US market for under $400, it will be quite a bargain with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset under the hood, a dual camera setup consisting of two 50-megapixel sensors on the back, alongside a rather generous 32-megapixel front camera. Coming to the display, it features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an expected refresh rate of 120Hz.
