Yet another (colorful) Samsung Galaxy S24 series secret may have been revealed well ahead of time،
Honestly, we can’t remember right now if there was a time when the world’s most interesting mobile products remained a question mark until their official announcements, but what we are sure of is that ‘such a thing is no longer (remotely) possible.
Take the Galaxy S24 family. As of this writing, it’s almost certainly still at least three months away from a commercial debut, but a host of well-connected insiders and knowledgeable leakers have already revealed not only how many members it would include, also spoiling an entire some of the specific secrets of each member, as well as the ultra-high-end trio as a whole.
The latest revelation comes from one of the most prolific and trusted industry analysts, but while we have no reason to doubt the veracity of
the information disclosed by Ross Young » on the social network formerly known as Twitter earlier today, this one is probably incomplete.
Three models, four color options, at least one major omission
Black, gray, purple and yellow. These are the four paint jobs suggested by Young to adorn the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra. With no details other than the three device names (grouped together) and their respective colorways, we’re assuming (at least for now) that all S24 models will be available in all of these shades.
Although we’re obviously far from surprised to learn that the S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra will (allegedly) be covered in black and gray colors (exactly like their predecessors), seeing not one not two but three yellow Android powerhouses released by
Samsung at the same time would certainly be unusual and unexpected.
The Galaxy S24 was ironically released in a white color not long ago.
Keep in mind that no member of the S23, S22, S21 or even S20 family was ever sold in this flashy flavor, while the “canary yellow” Galaxy S10e itself was not matched by the S10 or the S10 Plus in 2019. in general are pretty rare these days, so if this rumor comes to fruition in full, Samsung could certainly stand out from the pack in this small but notable and potentially eye-catching way.
As for the purple version, that also seems a bit unusual for high-end Galaxy handsets, although there’s clearly a good possibility that it strongly resembles the “Lavender” flavor of the S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra.
What this palette is sorely missing is a shade of white (like “Cream” or “Phantom White”), but before you crawl into a corner to cry, you need to remember how great the launch of the Galaxy
series Samsung’s S24 is still far away at the moment.

If history is any indication, at least one model will be available in more color options than the other two phones in at least some global markets.
This year’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, for example, is sold in red and sky blue hues in addition to ghost black, cream, green, lavender, graphite and lime versions, the “normal” Galaxy S23 and the S23 Plus are also available around the world.
Will the Galaxy S24 Ultra carry the beautiful legacy of the red-coated S23 Ultra (pictured here)? It’s too early to be sure.
That means all of our hopes of seeing next year’s monster Galaxy S24 Ultra sport a stunning red exterior are far from dashed, and surprise additions to the
S24 series lineup shouldn’t be ruled out until much closer of the planned January 2024 announcement.
There’s also a strong possibility that the S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra will share five or six different colorways in common rather than just four, with the aforementioned shades of white (or cream) and green remaining very much in evidence for now.
