OnePlus Ace 3V key specs leaked: 1.5K OLED panel & Snapdragon 7 Gen 2

Last year we saw three Ace-branded phones in China, aptly dubbed the Ace 2, Ace 2V, and Ace 2 Pro (in order of release). It looks like this year will be no different as reports suggest that OnePlus is preparing to launch the OnePlus Ace 3V in March this year.

We already received the OnePlus Ace 3 powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC in China and then arrived in India as the OnePlus 12R earlier this month. The OnePlus Ace 3V and Ace 3 Pro are expected to arrive in the first and second half of this year, respectively.

Speaking of the OnePlus Ace 3V, the yet-to-be-released phone has caught the attention of Chinese tipster DCS that it will feature an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and it might have flat or curved edges, although this remains to be seen. The display will breathe at a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone is likely powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC under the hood. Ace 3V is mid-range compared to the standard Ace 3, where the latter sports a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The OnePlus Ace 3V has an aluminum or plastic frame and a glass back, which is what a mid-range would have. The phone is likely powered by a 5,500mAh battery and 100W fast charging support. We don't have any information on optics, storage, RAM among other details so we'll have to wait to find out more. We know that the device could reach up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Rumors suggest that the OnePlus Ace 3V packs a 64 MP and 8 MP triple rear camera with a 2 MP auxiliary shooter. On the front we have the usual 16 MP shooter. This configuration was also seen with the OnePlus 2V.

Other features include NFC, IR Blaster, USB-C 2.0, Bluetooth v5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, a stereo speaker setup, and 5G support to name a few.
