Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni came off the bench and scored with a late header to snatch a 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Las Palmas and take the lead in La Liga on Saturday.

However, Real hit back in the 65th minute with a close range goal from Vinícius Júnior before Tchouaméni scored the winner six minutes before the end of normal time with a towering header from a Toni Kroos corner.

Real lead La Liga with 54 points after 21 games, two ahead of second-placed Girona, who play their 22nd league game of the season at Celta Vigo on Sunday.
