Apple Cash lets you send money to another iPhone user or request money through the iMessage platform. Go to iMessage and open the last conversation you had with the person you want to send or receive money to. Tap the “+” button to the left of the text field, then tap Apple Cash. You can send funds from the activated card in the Wallet app by setting the dollar amount you want to send and tapping “Send.” Again, you might have an issue with this service right now as it is undergoing scheduled maintenance.
