Motorola makes yet another low-cost phone official, and this one packs a HUGE 6,000mAh battery،
Even though it's still only January, no one will blame you if you've already lost count of all the new budget smartphones Motorola has officially unveiled this year.
Has anyone been asking for a new battery life champion?
Coincidence or not, the Moto G24 Power also appears to be an India-exclusive affair, although if the G54's history is any indication, that will likely change soon with expansion into a number of European markets and unfortunately not good ones availability prospects in North America.
Compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 7020-based G54 Power, the G24 Power unsurprisingly packs a lower-end Helio G85 processor while also sporting a significantly lower-quality 6.56-inch display with HD+ resolution instead of FHD+ and technology 90Hz refresh rate instead of 120Hz.
This may seem disappointing, even bitterly disappointing, to some of you bargain hunters reading today, but it could prove to be a blessing in disguise, taking battery life to previously unexperienced heights .
Release date and price expectations
Are you eager to spend as much money on Motorola as the company wants just to get your hands on its latest battery king? Unfortunately, you'll have to wait until January 30 for Flipkart and other “major retail stores” in India to launch their official Moto G24 Power sales… at an unspecified price.
Since the Moto G54 5G normally starts at Rs. 9,999. Priced at 17,999 in the region, this 4G LTE-only device could well cost as little as Rs 10,000 in an entry-level configuration with 128GB of internal storage space and 4GB of RAM. That works out to a measly $120, although again, we sadly don't expect the G24 Power to ever be officially released in the US.
But the ultra-affordable phone is expected to land in Europe in the relatively near future at very reasonable prices in the aforementioned variant, along with a slightly premium model combining 8GB of memory with 256GB of storage.
Last but not least, the Moto G24 Power also packs a surprisingly solid 50 MP main camera backed by a…probably useless 2 MP macro sensor on the back while still promising to produce decent selfies with a single shooter 16 MP frontal housed in a “modern”. ” centered hole punch. In short, we really don't see any major breaks here, at least if this thing turns out to be as affordable as we've been led to hope by a few reputable tipsters and leakers.
