Bayern Munich end Trippier pursuit, turn to Mukiele،

Bayern Munich have ended their interest in Newcastle right-back Kieran Trippier for now, but they remain interested in PSG's Nordi Mukiele, the team's sporting director Christoph Freund said on Wednesday.

Bayern have submitted three separate offers for Trippier, sources told ESPN. The first was a loan offer, the second in the region of 8 million euros and the third in the amount of 15 million euros, which was submitted on Tuesday.

But Newcastle have always been reluctant to let Trippier, 33, leave the club and have valued him at €20 million.

Bayern are currently unwilling to pay that price and have ended their interest, with Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund confirming this to Sky in Germany.

But Freud also confirmed to Sky in Germany that the club are continuing to try to secure Mukiele on loan from PSG as they look to bolster their resources on the right side of defense.
