After the Galaxy S24 series, Korean tech giant Samsung has launched a new power bank. For now, the accessory is only available in the UK, but there's a good chance the company will sell it in other regions as well. Dubbed the Samsung Quick Charge 45W Power Bank, it supports faster wired charging.

Samsung 45W Fast Charging Specifications

According to a listing on Mobile Fun, an e-commerce platform in the United Kingdom, Samsung's new power bank has a total capacity of 20,000 mAh. The listing shows the device in beige color, with curved edges and a minimalist design. Like the two USB-C ports on the old Samsung power bank, the new one also has two.

Charging two devices reduces charging speed

Despite this, the external battery can only charge two devices simultaneously. Additionally, when charging two smartphones, the accessory can only provide a maximum power of 9W to both. When charging a device, the Quick Charge power bank can deliver a maximum power of 45W. This means users can charge devices like the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra at their maximum speeds.

The device is made from recycled materials

The listing also suggests that the power bank is made from recycled materials, making it eco-friendly. In the box, the device comes with a 20cm USB-C to USB-C cable, which can charge either the power bank or another device. However, what is strange is that the Samsung Quick Charge power bank has not yet appeared on the company's official website.

Samsung Quick Charge 45W price

Samsung's first 45W power bank costs £59.99, which is around Rs. 9.99. 6,300. However, if the device comes to India at the same price, it may not be able to gain much traction as the market already has several well-rated options that offer the same capacity and charging speed. Nonetheless, there is no word on the Indian launch at the moment.
