Restricting outgoing calls and other recently introduced features, including extended posts, to X Premium subscribers appears to be the company's strategy to attract new subscribers. X Premium costs $8 per month or $84 per year. In fact, X Premium subscriptions start at $3 per month for the Basic tier (with ads). However, X's help center doesn't specify which tier includes the outgoing video and audio calling benefit.
