iPhone 16 rumored Capture button could bring new photography controls،

The iPhone 16 series is still far away, scheduled to launch in September this year. However, rumors are already circulating on this subject. One of these speculations hints at the addition of a new button, internally dubbed the Capture button by Apple. Although its exact function was a little unclear before, the latest rumor sheds light on it. Information (via Apple Insider), the supposed new button could incorporate zoom and focus controls. Sources close to iPhone16 development reveals that the Capture button wouldn't just be a standard mechanical button; it would also be sensitive to touch. Users could slide their finger to adjust zoom levels, and a half-press would be used to focus the photo.

In fact, the iPhone16 The capture button is rumored to be both pressure and touch sensitive, unlocking a few more features. Light pressure is said to handle focus, while firm pressure will capture an image or start recording.

Additionally, it is said that you will be able to swipe left or right on the button to zoom in or out. While many smartphones currently allow zoom to be adjusted via the volume keys, Apple's approach suggests that your finger won't have to leave the Capture button, providing a potentially more convenient experience.

As the button can be pressed, this implies a mechanical design, which differs from previous rumors, hinting at a capacitive button with haptics. Unlike capacitive buttons that detect touch using an electrical charge, mechanical buttons require physical pressure to activate.

Previous leaks and speculation suggest that Apple intends to place this button on the right side of the phone, below the power button. Recently, we collaborated with a 3D artist to create renderings imagining how the iPhone16 series and where its buttons might be located. You can view them here.

Additionally, the source notes that this Capture button is currently being tested on the standard, Plus, and Pro models. Fingers crossed that this feature is available to everyone iPhone16 models rather than potentially being limited to just Pro handsets, as was rumored earlier.

With the next iPhone16 series, Apple could also introduce a tetraprism telephoto lens for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. Non-Pro models could also get a boost, with speculation that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus could come with additional RAM and a Wi-Fi upgrade.
