We strongly disagree with the USITC's decision and the resulting orders. Pending the appeal, Apple is taking steps to comply while ensuring customers have access to the Apple Watch with limited disruption.

Apple added: “These steps include introducing a version of the Apple Watch Series 9 And Apple Watch Ultra2 in the United States without the Blood Oxygen feature. There is no impact on previously purchased Apple Watch units that include the Blood Oxygen feature. Apple Watch Series 9 And Apple Watch Ultra2 without Blood Oxygen will be available on apple.com starting at 6 a.m. PT on January 18 and in Apple Stores starting January 18.

Apple has not said whether it plans to reduce the price of affected watches since the pulse oximeter will be disabled.
