It's that time of year again. Samsung is back, this time a little earlier with its upcoming flagship Galaxy-S series. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series has just been unveiled worldwide and over the past few years it includes 3 smartphones: Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 PlusAnd Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+: price and availability
- The Samsung Galaxy S24 5G starts at $799.
- The Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus starts at $1,299.
The devices will be available from January 31.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 and Samsung Galaxy S24+ are available in Cobalt Violet, Onyx Black, Marble Gray and Amber Yellow.
Samsung Galaxy S24 5G: design and specifications
Samsung Galaxy S24 5G is powered by Exynos 2400 chipset for India. It comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
The smartphone features a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a triple camera setup on the back, comprising a 50MP primary sensor, an ultra -12 MP wide and a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 30x spatial zoom. On the front will be a 16MP snapper.
The Galaxy S24 will draw its juice from a 4,000mAh battery under the hood with 25W wired fast charging. It weighs 167 grams.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus 5G: design and specifications
THE Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus is powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset. It comes with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440 × 3120 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Under the hood is a 4,900 mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging capability. It weighs 196 grams and measures 7.7mm thick.
This time, Samsung is offering 7 years of software updates for Galaxy S24 series smartphones, which means that Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus will receive updates up to Android 21.
