Hyundai’s Latest Creta Facelift Hits Indian Roads with Bold Design and Enhanced Features: Price, Specifications،

In a dynamic move that is expected to shake up the automotive landscape, Hyundai has officially introduced the much-awaited 2024 Creta facelift. At an introductory price of Rs 11 lakh for the entry-level petrol-manual E variant, the range extends up to at Rs 20 lakh for the top-end SX(O) diesel-automatic version, offering a range of options to suit various preferences.

Boasting an impressive range of features and a refreshed design, the facelifted 2024 Creta is offered with a total of 19 variants, demonstrating Hyundai's commitment to providing a vehicle for every type of driver. With five engine options and gearbox combinations, the Creta promises a driving experience that seamlessly combines style, comfort and performance.

Creta Facelift India Price 2024

The recently launched Creta facelift comes with a slight price adjustment, standing at Rs 13,000 more than its pre-facelift counterpart. Notably, the top-end variant sees a more significant increase, now costing Rs 80,000 more than the previous model. Despite these adjustments, the facelifted Creta maintains its competitive positioning in the segment, continuing to offer a compelling package with improved features and design updates.

Design and modifications of the 2024 Creta facelift

The 2024 Creta undergoes a complete design overhaul, featuring more than just a cosmetic touch-up. Hyundai has overhauled the styling front and rear, introducing a larger grille adorned with parametric details. At the forefront, a vast split headlight setup steals the show, with LED daytime running lights, sequential indicators and a distinct light bar positioned atop the grille. The quad-LED main headlights find their place lower on the bumper, contributing to a refreshed aesthetic. To further enhance the appeal, new sill plates have been incorporated, effectively toning down the polarizing elements of the pre-facelift model.

Shifting our attention to the rear, the 2024 Creta reveals a bolder design with sharp angles, complemented by full-LED taillights and a vast LED light bar spanning the entire width. These changes are accompanied by a redesigned rear bumper, adding a modern touch to the overall aesthetic. On the sides, aside from the updated alloy wheels, subtle changes maintain a sleek profile, making it discreetly difficult to identify as this 2024 model.

Interior and features

As part of a notable interior transformation, Hyundai has introduced a revamped dashboard for the updated Creta. In the foreground, attention is drawn to a 10.25-inch touchscreen, benefiting from a software upgrade, blending seamlessly into the new 10.25-inch digital driver display adopted from the Alcazar . Enhancing functionality, the display offers three distinct themes and presents images from the blind vision monitor when the indicator is activated.

Further down the dashboard, the center console gets a redesign, housing the controls for the new integrated dual-zone climate control system. Notable changes to the interior include the introduction of lighter colors and copper details, adding a fresh, contemporary touch to the cabin.

Powertrain

Getting a significant mechanical upgrade, the Creta facelift introduces a powerful 160hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, replacing the now-discontinued 140hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit . This new engine is exclusively mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the 115hp 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines remain unchanged, offering the flexibility of both manual and automatic gearbox options in their respective configurations. This strategic mix of performance upgrades ensures a dynamic driving experience while retaining the options familiar to Creta enthusiasts.
