Vote now: What’s your preferred screen size for a smartphone?

It's the start of the year and it's also time for our annual phone size survey. It's no surprise that phone sizes have increased over the past couple of years, and what was once considered large now falls into the compact device category.

I still remember the launch of the first Sony Xperia Z in 2013 with its 5-inch screen. At the time, I thought, “This thing is huge!” » Today, 11 years later, I use a 5.4-inch phone with the name “mini”.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is just around the corner, and judging by all the rumors and leaks, it's going to be huge. We're expecting a 6.86-inch screen (marketed as 6.9-inch) and a few years ago this device would have been called a phablet.

These days, people seem to prefer phones with larger screens, and the demise of the iPhone mini is solid proof of that. However, last year's poll yielded somewhat unexpected results: Most people voted in the 6.1 to 6.4 inch category.

In fact, the 6.8+ category came in last, so maybe the above statement isn't true at all. This is what we are trying to find out today with this survey. What is the ideal screen size for you when it comes to smartphones?
