Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series are here: all the differences explained،

The Redmi brand is starting the year 2024 in style with five new models in the new Redmi Note 13 series.

All five models share a similar 6.7-inch form factor, 120Hz AMOLED displays, and around 5,000mAh battery, and all offer excellent value for money.

As always, Xiaomi will NOT sell these models in the United States, but they are officially available in most continental European countries and various other markets around the world.

But what are the differences between the models?

First of all, you have two very affordable Redmi Note 13s (non-Pro) models equipped with a 108 MP main camera, then you get three more advanced Redmi Note 13s Pro models with a 200 MP main camera and faster processors and charging.

Let's start with an overview of…

Redmi Note 13 specifications

As you can see, we have two 4G models in the lineup, the Redmi Note 13 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro, while the remaining models – marked with 5G in their names – have faster connectivity.

You can already spot some of the differences in the specs table above, but let's dig deeper and see what these differences mean in real life.

Design differences of the Redmi Note 13 series

With a screen size of 6.7 inches, these five phones have a similar physical footprint, and that footprint is… large.

But you can see how different the camera decor and the style on the back are for each model.

Additionally, while four of the models have a flat back and a flat display, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes with a curved back and a curved display. It's also the only one without a 3.5mm headphone jack.

You can find reviews of the different models, which we detail below:

Redmi Note 13 series performance differences

Each of these five phones has a different chipset and in the table below you can see how this affects performance.

CPU performance

As you can see, performance takes a big leap with the two most expensive models and the ones we recommend for power users and gamers.

We will be conducting testing for the non-Pro versions very soon and will update you with the results over the next few days.

Redmi Note 13 camera quality differences

Despite the similar cameras, the actual camera quality and features differ a lot.

For example, the Redmi Note 13 Pro model does not support 4K video recording despite having the same 200 MP camera sensor as the Note 13 Pro 5G and Note 13 Pro+ 5G.

The Pro models, all equipped with a 200 MP camera, promise “lossless” quality with 2X and 4X zoom, while the non-Pro versions, equipped with a 108 MP camera, offer “lossless” zoom. lossless » 3X.

Noise levels and image clarity also differ depending on each model's chipset processing, and you get the sharpest photo with the more expensive model.

But one thing all five models share is a 2MP macro camera with poor detail and little use.

Redmi Note 13 Charging Speed Differences

All five phones have charging that would be described as “very fast”, but you can see the levels here.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G with 120W fast charging blows the rest of the water. We mean a full charge in 25 minutes? Mad!
