Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Could Ship With Seven Years Of Updates, Hands-On Video Surfaces Online،
Korean tech giant Samsung is set to bring down the curtain on its flagship series of the year – the Galaxy S24. It will be made up of three smartphones: the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Ahead of the official launch, some leaks are surfacing online every day. Most recently, we reported on a price leak for the upcoming series. Now, a tipster has uploaded a hands-on video of the S24 Ultra on a popular microblogging platform.

X user Benlt Bruhner Pro recently uploaded a video from popular tipster Ice Universe. The video shows off the flat screen of the purported Galaxy S24 Ultra, which will debut alongside the rest of the Galaxy S24 devices on January 17, 2024. Although the screen hasn't fully lit up to reveal the thickness of the bezels, a mockup of the smartphone, attached at the end of the video, suggests that the Ultra series will come with the thinnest bezels ever available on an S series phone.
The hands-on video also featured a screen protector and a protective case around the phone. But even so, it looks like the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be boxier than ever. The details revealed by the video match what previous speculation suggested. Nevertheless, we are only a few days away from the official launch event, where Samsung will present the full specifications and design of the Galaxy S24 series.
Galaxy S24 could come with seven years of software updates
Another report from Android Headlines suggests that the S24 series could come with seven years of software updates, compared to four years of standard updates provided on the S23 series. However, the report does not confirm whether the company intends to deliver seven One UI updates or fewer. If that happens, Samsung will place its smartphones alongside the Pixel 8 series, which comes with seven years of Android updates.
Citing previous reports and rumors, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be available in four colors, including yellow, purple, gray, and black. Like the iPhone 15 Pro series, the Ultra variant will feature a titanium frame. Recent leaks also suggest that the model will be priced higher than previous models, thanks to the more expensive frame material and an advanced new chipset.
