Analyst says iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus to be equipped with more RAM, receive Wi-Fi upgrade،

MacRumorsHaitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu expects multitasking to improve on iPhone 16 and
iPhone16 And this year. That's because it sees Apple equipping both non-Pro 2024 models with 8GB of RAM. This would be an increase from the 6GB of RAM found in the
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Pu also expects Apple to retain 8GB of RAM on the
Pro variants. So if Pu is right, all four
iPhone16 models will have 8 GB of RAM this year.
For those who are not familiar with RAM, it
stands for Random Access Memory and it is a temporary memory that is cleared when we turn off our phone. Since frequently used apps and
app data are stored in RAM, the more RAM your phone has, the better your phone performs at multitasking. But don't look at the 8GB of RAM in iOS and compare it to the 24GB of RAM currently offered on some new high-end Android phones. The differences in how the two platforms operate mean that comparing the amount of RAM on one
android phone with an iOS phone, it's like comparing oranges to apples (see what we did there?)

Pu also expects that iPhone16 and the iPhone16 Pro to upgrade from Wi-Fi 6 to Wi-Fi 6E. The latter is what the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max currently support. THE iPhone16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are also expected to get upgraded Wi-Fi from 6E to the recently revealed Wi-Fi 7. The latter is approximately five times faster and offers twice the throughput, allowing more signals to be sent and received without interference.
Non-Pros iPhone16 models will receive the Action Button this year which allows users to press a button to trigger an action they select, such as turning on the flashlight, opening the camera app, accessing an accessibility feature , and more. All four iPhone16 the models will be equipped with the new Capture button which would be used to start recording videos.
THE iPhone16 And iPhone16 Plus will retain the current screen sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches compared to the iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max's rumored screen sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively. THE iPhone16 Pro should join the iPhone 16 Pro Max and both will feature the Tetraprism periscope camera this year. The camera debuted on iPhone 15 Pro Max Last year.
All four 2024 phones will feature an A18 chipset with the iPhone16 And iPhone16 Plus, powered by the A18 Bionic. THE iPhone16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be powered by the more efficient A18 Pro SoC. Both application processors will be manufactured by TSMC using its 3nm process node.
There are only about eight months left until iPhone16 the line is revealed and these months will pass in the blink of an eye.
