Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra shows off its perfectly flat screen in a quick new hands-on video،

If we all agree that a picture is worth a thousand words, that probably means a video is about a million words, right? But what about a 15-second, not particularly high-quality and rather fragile recording of an interaction with a smartphone that is still unannounced and highly anticipated?

It's definitely worth… something, even though said device all but stopped being secret months ago, with a cavalcade of leaks in recent weeks answering almost every question a potential Galaxy S24 buyer would have Ultra might still have in mind.
But even though Samsung's next crown jewel has been rendered and photographed in all its glory countless times over the past few weeks, none of these images feel like they do full justice to the cutting-edge handset. That's where this new hands-on video comes in, highlighting how the S24 Ultra sits in a real human hand, without any visible screen curves.

The future is flat, so get used to it!

This is a design change that's been a long time coming, as the screen curves of recent Galaxy flagship generations have become progressively more subtle and harder to notice. But we're pretty sure that at least some die-hard Samsung fans were still holding out hope that this decidedly eye-catching cosmetic item wouldn't disappear completely, which is what appears to be happening this year.

There really isn't much else to say about the appearance of the Galaxy S24 Ultra based on this recently leaked video that hasn't been said a thousand times before. The device's frame is obviously perfectly flat and clean, the central punch-hole doesn't go anywhere, and like all Ultra models before it, this bad boy also looks very imposing overall, exuding unrivaled power and premium build quality through its every pore.

Of course, the all-but-guaranteed titanium construction is in no way apparent here, and the handset's rear panel isn't pictured at any point either.
In case you're wondering, no, there's absolutely no way to be sure that this is a legit S24 Ultra unit we're reviewing here instead of, say, a Chinese clone very convincing (and very early), but given how the video initially published on Ice Universe's Twitter feed has already been deleted From there, it seems pretty obvious that no trickery is at play. For now, the clip can always be consulted in a number of other places, but we expect Samsung to try (and probably fail) to make it disappear completely and without a trace from the entire web.

These are the full and (most likely) official specifications of the S24 Ultra

These aren't technically set in stone, of course, but for the most part they are “confirmed” by several independent and equally reliable internal sources, so they really are as good as official:
