Jabra Announces OTA Updates For Elite 8 Active And Elite 10 Earbuds

Jabra has announced some updates to its latest Wlite wireless earbuds. The Elite 8 Active and Elite 10 will receive “experience-enhancing” updates, which will improve some existing features.

The initial update will roll out in January and will add an easy-to-use on/off toggle for Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation, HearThrough, and Sidetone. This will allow users to switch between modes to personalize their experience. However, it's unclear at the moment whether the update will unlock a touch gesture on the earbuds or add a switch in the companion app.

By March, Elite 10 will benefit from call clarity optimizations for busy environments like offices, restaurants, and streets. Additionally, improvements to AND and HearThrough will be even more effective in windy conditions on the Elite 8.
