Apple Vision Pro Could Ship With 16GB Of Unified Memory, Box Contents Revealed

Apple's Vision Pro is just around the corner. According to a report from MacRumors, the Vision Pro will come with 16GB of unified memory. The post cites device-related files in Xcode 15.2. In the future there could also be a 1TB variant

This discovery confirms a June 2023 report published by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman about the presence of 16 GB of RAM on the headset. Additionally, the report also mentions how some Vision Pro SDKs included 1TB of internal storage on the device. Nonetheless, for now, Apple is moving forward with the 256GB storage variant of the device, which will be available for $3,499.

Pre-orders for the Vision Pro begin on January 19, while retail units will hit stores on February 2. In addition to the headset, users need to purchase ZEISS Readers for $99 and ZEISS Prescription Optical Inserts for $149.

In the box, users will also receive two bands holding the headset in place: the Solo Knit Band and the Dual Loop Band.
