JBL floods Vegas with a rich and exciting new selection of true wireless earbuds،

While trade shows like CES and MWC no longer serve as a launching pad for many new phones from big brands like Samsung, Motorola, OnePlus or Google, smaller or more specialized companies seem to have taken Las Vegas by storm this start of the year to absolutely flood the already crowded market for true wireless earbuds with numerous options for every possible budget. Sennheiser, for example, plans to charge as much as $300 and $330 for the undeniably cutting-edge Momentum True Wireless 4 and Momentum Sport. the buds respectively start next month. If that sounds a little too rich for your blood, you might want to take a look at what JBL is showing off at CES 2024 in Las Vegas alongside these much-improved portable Bluetooth speakers that we've already told you all about.

Check out this “revolutionary” trio of smart-charging AirPods alternatives!

While not all of the world's best wireless earbuds look exactly the same these days, it's definitely starting to feel like they all basically do the same things at the end of the day. This is obviously because all earbuds have an identical primary goal, aiming to listen to music (and answer occasional calls) for as long as possible between charges and with the best audio quality possible… given their price range.

But JBL tried something a little different about a year ago, and according to the Harman-owned brand, the Tour Pro 2 headphones proved so popular that their gadget “the world's first smart charging case” s now extends not to one or two, but three new true wireless options.

Interestingly, the JBL Live Buds 3, Live Beam 3, and Live Flex 3 are all priced at the same $199.95, targeting an identical (and identical) release schedule and offering for Summer 2024. identical quite similar functionalities.

Battery life is actually a bit different between the three members of the JBL Live 3 family, ranging from 40 hours of total battery life on the Buds model to 48 hours for the Beam and up to 50 hours for the Flex. . The Live Flex 3 also packs the largest dynamic driver of the trio, at 12mm, with the Live Buds 3 and Live Beam 3 both making do with a 10mm size.

Then there's the water and dust resistance department, where the JBL Live Buds 3 and Beam 3 manage to edge out their Flex sibling with IP55 certification instead of IP54. Of course, the key distinction is made clear by these three names, as each Live 3 variant features a different visual style and overall design.

As for their similarities, the list is long and full of premium features worth mentioning, from “True Adaptive” noise cancellation to spatial audio, LDAC support, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE functionality Built-in audio and six microphones (for each model).

Nonetheless, the smart charging case undoubtedly remains the biggest selling point of all three JBL Live 3 products, and while we're not sure “game changer” or “cutting edge” are the best ways to describe this he can do, it's certainly nice to have something… unique.

The “smartness” of the case lies in its 1.45-inch touchscreen, which you can use to check messages and view other important things from your phone without actually taking said phone out of your pocket. You know, kind of like a smartwatch or fitness tracker…without the fitness tracking capabilities.

How about new “dumb” headphones at a lower price?

If you don't think you'll ever be able to fully use a “smart charging case” alongside your wireless earbuds, you might want to consider the $149.95 JBL SoundGear Sense or even the ultra-smart JBL Tune 310C. affordable at $24.95, both of which are more firmly planned for on-sale in March 2024.

If you're wondering why these new Tunes are so incredibly cheap, the answer is pretty simple: They're not “truly wireless” headphones, instead featuring a USB Type-C cable that you shouldn't have any problem connecting to your existing phone.

For just $25, these wired headphones are impressive on paper, promising to deliver “high-resolution audio with JBL Pure Bass Sound” while also including a convenient 3-button remote for easy control of music playback and a built-in microphone.

Still, we realize that many of you value the true convenience and modernity of wireless over an extremely affordable price, and that's where the SoundGear Sense comes in with a chic open-ear design, high -massive 16.2 mm drivers, adjustable ear hooks, four integrated microphones, IP54 water and dust resistance, multi-point connectivity, up to 24 hours of total battery life with the supplied charging case, convenient fast charging functionality and a not-so-high price. That's a pretty solid value proposition too, isn't it?
