Lenovo’s new affordable Android tablet costs less than $200, launches in April،

Cheap tablets from Lenovo have been available in the United States for some time. Earlier today, the Chinese company introduced another affordable Android tablet that is also expected to launch in the United States, the Tab M11.

The main selling point of the Lenovo Tab M11 is clearly its $180 price tag, but its specs and design are also worth considering. The slate comes with a stylus holder, and customers can also purchase a folio case to protect its sleek finish.

These are not supplied with the tablet and must be purchased separately. The Lenovo Tab Pen Plus sells for $50, almost a third of the price of the tablet, but the folio case doesn't yet have a price tag.

Now, as for the rest of the specs, these are pretty standard for a budget tablet. For starters, the tablet is equipped with MediaTek's Helio G88 processor, coupled with 4/64 GB or 8/128 GB (expandable via a microSD card slot).

More importantly, Lenovo's tablet sports an 11-inch IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, and up to 400 nits. On the front, the slate sports an 8-megapixel selfie sensor, while on the back there's an 8-megapixel or 13-megapixel primary sensor, depending on the market.

Additionally, the Tab M11 is powered by a large 7,040mAh battery and supports Dolby Atmos, along with four speakers. An LTE version will also be available for purchase in some markets, but only Wi-Fi will be available pretty much everywhere Lenovo sells its products.

It's worth mentioning that the Tab M11 comes with Android 13 built-in, which is a bit disappointing. However, Lenovo claims that the tablet will receive two major Android updates and that security patches will continue to be available until 2028. The tablet is expected to be available in April 2024.
