WhatsApp For Android Is About To Get These Two Features Soon،

WhatsApp, the Meta-owned instant messaging platform, is working on adding new features to its Android app. In recent days, WABetaInfo has spotted two features in development. Although both are currently under development, they are available to a small group of beta testers. That said, here's everything you need to know about the upcoming WhatsApp for Android features.

According to a report published on January 6, 2024, WhatsApp is working on a feature that allows users to play and share their audio with others during a video call. Available on the latest WhatsApp pro beta for Android, the feature allows users to listen to “video and music together”. When someone on a video call shares their screen, the audio played on their device will also be available to other users.

The post also highlights that this feature is available in one-on-one video calls and provides a synchronized audio experience. Additionally, there is a chance that the feature will roll out to regular users on Android, as it is also available for WhatsApp Messenger beta testers. The shared music feature allows users to “enjoy content simultaneously, regardless of their physical location,” which makes for a great movie or video streaming platform.

According to another report published on January 8, 2024, WhatsApp is working on allowing businesses to subscribe to Meta Verified directly through the app. As seen in the screenshot shared by the post, a new setting is available in the app that allows businesses to subscribe to Meta Verified, which will replace WhatsApp Premium.

Businesses that subscribe should see the verified badge in their in-app profile, along with additional features to increase reach, making it easier for customers to find and connect with them. However, the subscription is currently under development and should be available to all pro users as part of a regular update via the Play Store.
