What we would like to see in the Samsung XR headset:

1. Affordable price

Samsung aiming for a balance between specs and price will be a godsend. Samsung's headset is expected to come with good quality specs, but it is also expected to be more affordable than the Apple Vision Pro.

2. Smell-Based Technology

There have been rumors that Samsung will bring scent-based technology to the headset. The technology is rare, but if it is integrated into the device, the experience will become even more immersive. This will also give Samsung an edge over the competition.

3. High-end screens

Samsung is a brand that manufactures screens for many smartphones. Most major smartphone brands use displays made by Samsung. Since Samsung is known for its display panels, it is expected to use new, sharper and even more immersive panels in the XR headset. The material used to make these screens can be cheaper to reduce the price of the device. MicroOLED displays can be a good option.

4. Controllers for glasses

Mixed reality headsets primarily use eye and hand movements to track and control the device. However, having a controller with physical buttons will make operation easier. Playing games and performing all other work-related tasks will become even more dynamic if physical controllers work in tandem with human eyes and fingers.
