iPhone survives fall from Alaska Airlines flight that lost a door plug mid-air،

Friday evening, 20 minutes into its 2-hour journey, Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 lost a fuselage panel, causing an in-flight panic. While no passengers were fortunately seated near the exploding door jam, two smartphones, including an iPhone, were sucked out of the plane.

The plane, a Boeing Co. 737 Max 9, was flying from Portland, Oregon, to Ontario, California, and was 16,000 feet in the air when it lost the door plug, leaving a huge hole in the plane.

Fortunately, the plane had not reached its cruising altitude of over 30,000 feet and managed to land in Portland without any loss of life. Some items were blown away by the explosive air current, including an iPhone that was found by X user Seanathan Bates on the side of a Portland road.
Despite the 16,000-foot fall, the iPhone was in perfect condition, with a piece of a broken charger stuck inside the only sign that it had witnessed some chaotic times.

The phone was in airplane mode and unlocked, and there was an email from Alaska Airlines about a travel confirmation and baggage claim for the fight, which is how Bates found out he had fallen out of the plane. 'plane. It worked perfectly and had hours of battery life left.

The iPhone and the other handset, found in a yard, were turned over to the National Transportation Safety Board, which will return them to their rightful owners, reports FOX 10 Phoenix.

The fallen fuselage panel was found in a school teacher's yard in Portland.

All 171 passengers and six crew members on board the plane escaped without serious injuries. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has grounded some 170 Max 9 planes to conduct safety checks.

While it's certainly impressive that the iPhone remained unscathed after this brutal fall, we certainly wish the incident hadn't happened and are glad no lives were lost.
