Now that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ are officially introduced, the next logical question is: what’s in the box?

Samsung has compiled a nice little video to answer that question (and to tease you), highlighting the tablets’ key specs and features (via Android Headlines).

The promotional clip is available on Samsung’s US YouTube channel and, at 90 seconds long, gets straight to the point. The faceless critic starts with the largest list (the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+), showing that an S Pen is available, along with a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, an ejector pin, and some required paperwork. There are four color variants – Mint, Silver, Grey, Lavender – and the S Pen matches the body color, so no OCD will be triggered today.

Then it’s time for the specs to shine. Both tablets have a 12 MP selfie camera and an 8 MP rear camera, but the Plus model packs another one on the back. It also offers 8 million pixels, but the lens is ultra-wide.

Both tablets feature an IP68 dust and water resistance rating and may be just fine if someone – certainly not you – accidentally dunks them in water. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE has a 10.9-inch LCD screen while the Plus model has a 12.4-inch LCD screen, and the good news is that both offer a 90Hz refresh rate. Samsung emphasizes that the tablets emit low blue light and provide excellent visibility even outdoors.

As Galaxy Tab users now know, the S Pen attaches magnetically to the back of the tablet – and that’s the case here too. Both the smallest and largest device are designed to be respectably thin at 6.5mm. In terms of weight, we can expect 1.15 pounds (523 gr) for the base model and 1.38 pounds (627 gr) for the Tab S9 FE+).

You can’t carry around 1.38 pounds for nothing: the Tab S9 FE+’s battery capacity is 10,090 mAh, while the smaller sibling “only” offers 8,000 mAh. Samsung claims the battery can be charged from 0% to 100% in 90 minutes.

Depending on your style and needs, you have the choice between several storage options: 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB for the Tab S9 FE; and 8 GB + 128 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, with the ability to expand up to 1TB using a microSD card.

Speaking of power, there’s the Exynos 1380 under the hood of both tablets – an upgrade over the Snapdragon 778 (the one found in the Galaxy Tab S7 FE) although obviously not as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the Tab S9. and the Tab S9 Plus.
