Transfer Talk: Bayern could see them lose Palhinha again،

The winter transfer window is now open in Europe, and there are plenty of moves being made and plenty of gossip swirling. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumors, comings and goings and, of course, done deals!

TOP STORY: Bayern awaits final decision on Palhinha

Bayern Munich have verbal agreement with Fulham midfielder João Palhinha but could see their decision fail again, as reported by Sky Sports Deutschland.

The Cottagers convinced the 28-year-old to stay this summer, offering the midfielder a new contract that lasts until the summer of 2028 and with a significantly increased salary.

Fulham reportedly promised that if Palhinha wanted to move in January, the club would reduce their demands to €65m – and they are now holding out with a valuation of at least €60m.

Bayern are not willing to pay that amount and the Portugal international is deemed too expensive, so there is no demand or offer.

Even so, the deal is not completely done, especially as Palhinha intends to sign for Bayern and is not interested in any other club despite being linked with Arsenal and Liverpool.

He also wants to leave Fulham this winter and hopes a solution can be found that would allow him to do so, while Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel is keen to bring in someone who can play in the back six.

Palhinha has continued to impress in his 17 Premier League appearances so far this season, even scoring twice and providing an assist.

Paper gossip

– Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are all keeping a close eye on the Crystal Palace winger Michel Olise, according to Football Insider. There will be no January transfer for the 22-year-old, but his contract includes a release clause that can be triggered this summer, which has led to big clubs evaluating his services.

– Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are interested in the Nuremberg striker Can Uzun, as reported by Sky Sports Deutschland. Dortmund are the more enthusiastic of the two, but there is also competition from England and Turkey, with Nuremberg refusing to let the 18-year-old leave in January and demanding €10 million for his possible departure.

– Real Madrid interested in Sevilla right-back Juanlu Sanchez, reports AS, which adds that it wants to bring in the 20-year-old for a reasonable amount to initially act as Dani Carvajal's understudy and potentially become his successor. The negotiations won't be easy, however, as Sevilla are unwilling to accept anything as part of Juanlu's €20 million release clause, while The Whites reserve their big spending for Bayern Munich Alphonso Davies plus that of Paris Saint-Germain Kylian Mbappé or Erling Haaland of Manchester City.

– Napoli could make progress towards signing Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic next week, Calciomercato reports, with both clubs having held discussions and expressing their willingness to complete the deal for the 21-year-old midfielder. A sticking point is whether Alessandro Zanoli will be part of the deal, especially as the 23-year-old right-back is set to join Genoa.

Lucien Agoumé has landed in Spain with his agent to sign on loan for Sevilla from Internazionale, as reported Fabrizio Romano. The club currently sit 16th in La Liga and have been busy, including the striker's loan move from Chelsea. David Datro Fofana advances quickly while the Ajax attacking midfielder Stanis Idumbo-Muzambo will soon join them on a permanent contract.
