Google tests a Password Manager shortcut for Pixel users،

The Google Password Manager is a useful tool on Android devices as it stores passwords and will even help users create strong passwords. It also supports passwords which Google touts as faster than passwords but with more security. The problem with Google Password Manager is that Google has buried it deep in Android settings. To access Password Manager, you must go to Settings > Google > Automatic filling > Autofill with Google > Google Password Manager.
According to Android Font, a new shortcut for Google Password Manager has been discovered on some Pixel phones, saving the user time and energy when trying to open Google Password Manager. Using a Pixel 8 Pro, Android Police used the Pixel Launcher's Google search bar to find the Google Password Manager. Even before the password was completely typed into the search box, a link to the password manager appeared between the icon of installed applications matching the search terms and the autocomplete-based suggestions.
Tapping the link to Password Manager takes you directly to Google Password Manager. This has yet to reach my Pixel 6 Pro running the latest Android 14 QPR2 beta. Other Pixel units also didn't have this shortcut, suggesting that the feature is slowly being rolled out by Google or is undergoing one of the company's “legendary” A/B tests. In the meantime, if following the instructions in the first paragraph is too much for you, here is the best solution of all.

In the Google search bar at the bottom of your Pixel's home screen, tap the microphone icon and say “password manager.” The Password Manager page opens immediately and simply asks for your fingerprint to open one of the listings on the page.

Interestingly, if you use the same search box and type “password manager”, the page does not open immediately and opens the search results with Google Password Manager at the top. Click on the link and you are there. You may want to use this method instead of saying the words “password manager” if you are in a crowd and are worried that your phone will be targeted if someone in that crowd hears you open your password. director.

But if you're comfortable with your surroundings, using the microphone icon on the Google search bar at the bottom of your Pixel and saying “password manager” is probably the easiest and quickest way to access the Google password manager. It might even be more convenient than the shortcut that Google hasn't released to all Pixel models yet.
