Samsung shows us the history of its cellphones, asks “What’s next?” in Galaxy S24 teaser،
While Samsung officially revealed that the next Unpacked event will take place on January 17, the unveiling of Sammy's Galaxy S24 The flagship line will take place 13 days earlier than last year's Galaxy S23 introduction. By moving the entire timeline forward a few weeks, Samsung can take on the iPhone 15 series and Pixel 8 lineup sooner than before. The event will take place in San Jose, California starting at 10:00 a.m. PST/1:00 p.m. EST.

The company today released a pretty cool teaser that gives us a little history of the cell phone, at least its Samsung version. That means we're fast-forwarding past 2007, when the late Steve Jobs introduced Apple's first iPhone. The history lesson begins with Samsung's first mobile phone in 1988, continues with the first phone with television in 1999, the launch of immersive screens in 2011, the first waterproof handset in 2014, the introduction of mobile payment service Samsung Pay in 2015 and the release of foldable phones from 2020.
The teaser asks, “What’s next?” and ends with the words “Prepare for a new era of mobile” displayed on the screen. The next step is AI and Samsung is reportedly loading the Galaxy S24 series with exciting features like AI Live Translate Call which translates a phone call in real time. Two people speaking different languages will hear a translation of what the other person is saying so that a conversation between someone speaking English and someone speaking Spanish can flow seamlessly.
There are rumors that an AI feature would allow a Galaxy S24 series handset to make a phone call and take action based on items discussed during the call. Events will be added to a calendar app and tasks will be added to a to-do list. Samsung has raised expectations and this must come to fruition.
