What to Expect from Upcoming Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G launching in January 2024،
The technology industry has decided to start 2024 with a bang, especially smartphone manufacturers. Indeed, January itself has been confirmed to see some significant launches, including the Redmi Note 13 Series, Vivo X100 Series, Poco X6 Series, Samsung Galaxy S24 series, and more. Today, another tech giant began announcing the launch of its number series. Realme shared a post via X (formerly Twitter) indicating the launch of the Realme 12 series in January 2024.
The post features an image of a periscope lens with the hashtag #No periscope, no flagship. Although Realme has not confirmed the name of the device, reports claim that the brand is talking about Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G. Here is the message.
Realme 12 Series
The Realme 12 series is expected to include 3 smartphones: Real me 12, Real Me 12 ProAnd Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G. The smartphones will be an attractive mix of specifications and affordable prices, considering Realme's history with the number series. The highest Pro Plus variant would arrive with major updates. Here's what we can expect from the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G smartphone.

Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G: expectations
The high-end Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G is expected to feature a periscope telephoto lens. Realme recently launched GT 5 Pro which was its first flagship with this telephoto lens. Now, the brand is expected to bring the same periscope lens to the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G. If this happens, it will be the first mid-budget device with this camera sensor.
Apart from the periscope lens, the smartphone could feature a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B sensor which will allow the user to zoom in 3 times without loss of image quality.
THE Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G would be powered by a special Snapdragon 7 Series chipset, namely the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
The smartphone could cost around Rs. 9,999. 23,000 in India and will start retailing in January itself. Realme also confirmed that it will announce something big on the 3rdrd January at 7:30 a.m. IST worldwide. This may also be the event where the brand confirms the Realme 12 series with a first look or details reveal.
