Xiaomi officially teases HyperOS in India،

Xiaomi announced its bespoke AI-powered lightweight UI, dubbed HyperOS, in China earlier in October 2023. Last month, the tech giant announced a global rollout and today we heard official from Xiaomi India confirming the debut of HyperOS in India marked as imminent.

The Chinese giant is gearing up for the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series in India on January 4. The phones have already debuted in China and then in India this Thursday. It remains to be seen if these will arrive with the standard MIUI or if Xiaomi will upgrade them with HyperOS when they launch in the country.

Xiaomi has announced a list of eight Xiaomi and Redmi phones that are expected to get their hands on HyperOS in the first quarter of 2024. However, the marketing director of Xiaomi India confirms that this year marks a milestone for Xiaomi India as there are a ton of action on the table. This could be a reference to the arrival of HyperOS in the country. We hope it will arrive with the Redmi Note 13 series although we will have to wait some time to get a clear picture. As of now, there is no update on the timeline and shortlisted models to get HyperOS once it arrives in India.

Xiaomi's HyperOS is its cutting-edge, lightweight and clutter-free custom UI based on Linux and Vela System – self-developed by Xiaomi. It is packed with AI features and works efficiently on phones with any RAM size, unlike MIUI which tends to process slower with lower RAM storage.

It brings a revamped control center, performance and security improvements, a dedicated TEE security system, a host of customization options as well as cross-device collaboration, to name a few. AI features include creating artwork and searching images.

We're just three days away from the big launch of the Redmi Note 13 series. We hope HyperOS India makes an appearance as well, although we're keeping our fingers crossed until it does.
