Here's the tweet itself: This looks exactly like Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro AI routine: They send certain tasks (like photos edited with Magic Editor) to Google servers to complete them.

Compete harder

The competition (not only) in AI between Samsung and Google (and Apple) is excellent news: it means that, in theory, we will get more things, and faster. The fine line between inspiring chivalric competition and outright theft is indeed fine in the great world of technology; but we, as consumers, shouldn't worry so much about it.

There is one area where Samsung could really step up its game, one where Google shines: the Call Screen feature. Of course, playing with more and more breathtaking photo/video editing tricks is nice and all. On the contrary, having a fancy call screen feature isn't fun – it's a relief.
