iPhone’s Lead Designer Reportedly Joins LoveFrom To Work In Collaboration With OpenAI،

About two weeks ago, news about the departure of Apple's iPhone and smartwatch chief designer Tang Tan surfaced on the Internet. Now, Bloomberg's latest report suggests that more than 20 former employees of the company have joined a company called LoveFrom, including Tan.

LoveFrom attracts several Apple employees after all

LoveFrom is reportedly working on an AI-based project with Sam Altman's OpenAI. The former Apple design chief will join the company in February 2024. Interestingly, Tan will work with former Apple design chief Jony Ive at LoveFrom.

For those who have been catching up, Ive worked at Apple for around 27 years and contributed significantly to products such as the first iPhones, the Mac released in 1998, AirPods, the Apple Watch and the iconic new Campus of the company, Apple Park.

Tan and Ive to work on AI-based hardware project

As part of the LoveFrom team, Tan and Ive will work on an AI-based hardware project, which will benefit from software support from OpenAI. Although rumors suggest that the companies are working on an AI device, the exact nature of the device is not known at this time. Several speculations indicate that former Apple executives and Sam Altman could be working on an AI-powered smartphone.

Apple seems to be having trouble retaining employees

Meanwhile, one of Apple's user interface designers, Patrick Coffman, has also left the company. The streak of employees leaving the world's most beloved consumer technology company seems to never end. However, the rumors that most of them will join LoveFrom and help develop the speculated AI device certainly raises many questions. For now, this is the extent of the information we have on the subject.
