Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Series Tipped To Get 3 Years of Android Updates،
Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 13 series in India on January 4, which is a week from now. The lineup includes Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro Plus. It turns out that the trio will be home to three years of major Android OS upgrades once they officially arrive in India and the global market.

On top of that, the devices are also expected to get 4 years of security updates that should keep the phones healthy until 2028 at the earliest.
The trio – the Redmi Note 13 series, arrived in China with the Android 13 operating system, however, it is not clear whether the aforementioned three years of Android updates and the four years of security updates apply or not to Chinese variants. Currently, the Chinese models run on MIUI and plan to run on Xiaomi's HyperOS, which has just released the first and second batch of devices to get their upgrades.
As for Indian and global ROMs, the HyperOS update seems to be very long, which means we won't get it for a while.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Series Specifications
Talking about the spec sheet, the trio sports a 6.67-inch 68B 120Hz 1800 nits OLED display with 446 ppi density. There is up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage depending on the model you choose. Coming to the chipset, the standard model takes the Dimensity 6080, the Pro takes the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and the Pro Plus uses a Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC under the hood.
Both Pros have 200MP sensors with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro on the rear. It leaves the standard variant with a 108 MP and 2 MP primary depth sensor. The front cameras of the trio remain the same at 16MP.
On the battery side, we find a light 100mAh battery between the capacities of the trio a 5000mAh battery. Charging speed increases from 33W, 67W to 120W as you progress through the ranks.
