Humane reveals shipping details for its upcoming AI Pin،
In a recent X post, innovative technology company Humane has revealed the shipping start dates for its next AI Pin. In case you don't remember, the company introduced its smartphone replacement product in November, kicking off pre-order dates on November 16.
At the time, Humane refrained from sharing shipping details, saying only that it would begin shipping its innovative AI Pin in early 2024. On Friday, Humane published an article on X, shedding light on the issue of shipping. In short, AI Pin shipping will begin in March 2024.
Does this mean everyone will receive their orders in March next year? Unfortunately no. In its own words, Humane says it will honor early support, meaning orders placed early, with AI Pins from the start of shipping.
Aside from priority orders, the company will ship the AI Pin in the order in which orders were received. In other words, if you want to be among the first to benefit from this innovative item, you should place an order as soon as possible.
In case you don't remember, the AI Pin is a laptop powered by OpenAI. It has no screen, but does everything a smartphone can do and more. The device allows its user to take photos, send text messages, ask a virtual assistant all kinds of things, and much more. The wearable even projects a visual interface onto its user's palm.
The complete AI Pin system includes the item itself, two charges – a case and pad, a USB-C adapter, and two battery boosters. This entire system costs $699. To use AI Pin, users need an active subscription to Humane's services, which costs $24/month. (fees and taxes excluded).
The item is no longer on pre-order and can now be ordered directly from the Humane website. As an additional note, we should mention that users who don't want to go all-in and pay for the AI Pin in one installment have the option to pay over time.
