OnePlus 12R To Ship In Two Colors: Iron Grey And Cool Blue،
OnePlus 12R, or the rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, is expected to launch in India on January 23, 2024, along with the flagship OnePlus 12. The phone will take after the OnePlus 11R launched last year (or the OnePlus Ace 2) and bring a near-flagship experience with a mid-range price. However, around three weeks before the official launch, an Indian tipster leaked the color options of the OnePlus 12R.
OnePlus 12R in Iron Gray and Cool Blue
According to an X (formerly known as Twitter) post by tipster Ishan Agarwal, the OnePlus 12R global variant will be available in Black and Blue colors. Agarwal uploaded a poster of the upcoming smartphone on his account, which also contains the launch date (January 23, 2024) and launch time (7:30 p.m. IST).
While the black color resembles what we have seen on previous models, the blue color brings a new hue to the OnePlus 'R' series. This is a lighter metallic shade of sky blue. The shiny camera module also appears to be the same color. The tipster also uploaded a teaser video of the upcoming phones. These colors are consistent with what previous reports suggested.
OnePlus 12R will arrive in a gold option limited to China
While the OnePlus 12R will arrive in India and globally in two colors, the company's official Weibo account also revealed the OnePlus Ace 3 in Gold color. Additionally, the design language of the phone remains similar to its predecessor. The OnePlus 12R or OnePlus Ace 3 will come with a slightly curved display, a glass panel on the back, and a metal middle frame that holds the front and rear components together.

Coming to the specifications, reports suggest that the OnePlus 12R could come with a 6.78-inch LTPO display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the chipset that powers most Android flagships in 2023, including the OnePlus 11 and Samsung's Galaxy S23 series. Additionally, the handset is expected to feature 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage.
The OnePlus 12R is also expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2 MP macro shooter. The phone is expected to be powered by a 5,500mAh battery for 100W wired charging. Additionally, the OnePlus 12R is a toned down version of the OnePlus 12 which is supposed to release on the same date.
