As 2023 is about to end, Samsung has a surprise in store for its fans in India. The brand hosted a short and sweet “My Kind of Awe-some” launch event during which Samsung launched two smartphones: Samsung Galaxy A25 5GAnd Samsung Galaxy A15 5G. The smartphone, like other budget Samsung phones, will offer good quality specifications at affordable prices.
Samsung Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G: price and availability
The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G will be available in 2 storage models:
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage – Rs. 999. 19,499
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – Rs. 999.22,499
It will be available in blue, blue black and light blue colors.
The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G will be available in 2 storage configurations:
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage – Rs. 999.26,999
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – Rs. 999.29,999
It will be available in black, blue and yellow tones.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G: Specifications
THE Galaxy A25 5G is powered by an Exynos 1280 chipset with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. On the back, the smartphone has 3 camera lenses (50MP+8MP+2MP) and at On the front there is a 13MP selfie snapper. Under the hood, the Galaxy A25 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging capacity. It has 5G connectivity and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
Samsung Galaxy A15 5G: Specifications
The most affordable Galaxy A15 5G sports the same 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display but with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Dimensity 6100+ chipset that recently powered the Poco M6 and Redmi 13C smartphones. The battery and charging support are similar to those of the Galaxy A25.
On the back, there is a triple camera setup with a 50 MP primary lens, a 5 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP auxiliary lens. At the top of the screen is a 13 MP lens for selfies and video calls. It is 5G compatible and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
Both the recently launched Samsung phones run One UI 6 based on Android 14 operating system. Samsung has confirmed 4 years of operating system and 5 years of security patches for the devices.
