Hawks’ De’Andre Hunter sidelined 2 weeks with knee injury،

ATLANTA – The Atlanta Hawks will be without starting small forward De'Andre Hunter for at least two weeks due to inflammation in his right knee, the team announced Monday.

Hunter, who has missed the last two games, will undergo a non-surgical procedure on Tuesday. The team said Hunter, who had an MRI on Saturday showing the inflammation, will be re-evaluated in about two weeks.

Hunter is fourth on the team in scoring at 14.9 points per game. He averages 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists and is one of the team's best defensive players.

However, the Hawks could soon receive some reinforcements, as forward Jalen Johnson could return this week after a month out with a wrist injury.

The Hawks, who play at Chicago on Tuesday, have lost two straight games to fall to 12-17.
