LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Lakers point guard Gabe Vincent will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his ailing left knee, a source familiar with Vincent's plans confirmed Monday to ESPN, with an expected recovery period of 6 to 8 weeks before he can return to action. game.

Vincent, 27, signed a three-year, $33 million contract with Los Angeles during the offseason, replacing Dennis Schroder in the backcourt after Schroder signed a free agent deal with the Toronto Raptors.
